well i cant believe its just over a month away from Xmas and i hope everyones been busy making there own personal card to hand out to all... Here is one i sort of cased out of the IB&C... i think i like my one better though... hahaha. I needed to make something easy for some beginners to do, and this was very easy...

criss cross card

this is a criss cross card... i made this for my mother in law as it is her b'day and we are giving her a voucher this year... so what a great way to give it to her... sit it in the front with an over sized tag... Ive altered the pattern a little so when you slip off the ribbon bit you can open it like a normal card and i decorated inside like normal... i had so much fun making this one as i got to use heaps of punches (i love punches) lol...

Daddy Day

I have fallen in LOVE with Maree's stamp set Seaworthy... daddys day

YES Fathers Day is coming up... sad isn't it (i wish it was mothers day again, ha ha ha) I have made this card as an example of what we will be making at my next party. I bought some glossy white cardstock to try out and i was soooo amazed. It is glossy and smooth on the outside and just like normal cardstock on the inside (making it easier to stamp and write on the inside)

stampin on candles

isn't this just a great idea... stampin any of your stamps onto a candle... how great is that! As i was checking out some other blogs i came across the lovely Stampin Up demonstrator in America. She had used this technique in one of her classes so i emailed her to find out how she did it and wullla... i can do it too... lol

MMMM strawberries, yum yum. This is one of the new stamps sets out of the Spring Mini Catalogue. Are we over the Surfs Up stamp set yet? NO... This card we made at my "launch party" for the new catalogue. I wanted to make something bright and fun. I think i succeeded, there was so many different looking cards on the day. We all had a great time (including me with my bottle of champagne no-one would help me drink, ha ha ha) playing trivia games for prizes (that Deb won) and a lucky door prize (that Deb won). She did share tho... Thanx ladies for coming and making this very successful for me...
